Reboot Reminder & Terminations

A friendly reminder that a server reboot will be performed on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019 between 3AM SLT – 6AM SLT (6AM EST – 9AM EST). During the reboot, all streams are turned into offline mode therefore you will have to log into your control panel to click the green on button. We’ve created a YouTube video on how to do that. Don’t want to have to worry about doing this? No problem! That is exactly why we have what is called Premium Support which means I will turn on your stream as soon as the server comes back online after a reboot. The price of this service will be increasing in January so may I suggest taking advantage of the promotions we have on it.

If you get a page that says any sort of error when trying to access the control panel, it means you were banned by IP address as we have a strict firewall to prevent any sort of unwanted access so you will need to contact a staff member to have your IP un-banned and whitelisted. A tip to prevent this is to **never, ever** copy/paste, ALWAYS type in the username and password so you don’t pick up an invisible space which will give you a failed log in.

If you have a custom URL, remember that your control panel is just a tad bit different when you log in. Just use the search bar at the top and type in whmsonic and it will bring up the Shoutcast Admin Panel to your stream.

Onto terminations…

I will be doing stream terminations throughout today and tomorrow so be sure that you check your rental box at the Hostcrate inworld office. We **DON’T** offer any grace period in Second Life so once your box turns red indicating you are in overdue status, you risk losing your account if you don’t pay it before we terminate it. We will **NOT** re-open/recreate a stream that was terminated **UNLESS** you have a Lifetime License.

A lifetime license lets you reactivate your stream at any time with the same details (IP is the only thing that may change). That is the only exception.

IF you ever want to have a stream with a specific due date with a grace period, we suggest converting to a RL (Real Life) stream account. Check our promos for any current sales.

Update: Our Merch

Hiya!

I just thought I should get on here to update y’all on our merch by Amazon designs. We have a couple so far and can only do one a day so we apologize for the slowness but we are working on it. We are also working on getting up an actual storefront as well. Note: Amazon affiliate links are being used so we would earn commission if you decided to purchase through our links on our website.

Giving everyone an update since announcing our approval for the Merch By Amazon program. We have a few items available and we are creating a new design today that will hopefully be released on Monday. Each of the designs has to be approved by Amazon before it is posted so it takes a bit of time. But we finally have merch that is reliable!! If you are a Amazon Prime member, you can use that if ever you purchase anything that we create so be excited for that alone *giggles*.

Merch By Amazon: We’re approved!

As many of you already know, Hostcrate has been looking into selling merchandise. We have tried many print on demand services but none of which were the right fit for us. The majority of the issues were with the shipping times and fees that come with shipping outside of the United States. We have been trying different platforms with out other Brand, ThinkLMAO [.com]. We will be launching that again later this year. But none of the platforms were hitting the mark on what we have been looking for.

On December 6th, 2018, While watching YouTube, I came across a new option so I applied. By the looks of it, however, I didn’t think Hostcrate would of been approved because it seemed it may have been geared more toward much bigger brands and influencers but to my surprise on December 11th, 2018, I was sent a welcome email!!!!

What are you talking about Lusty … Lexxi… Misty….Ha, to whichever you like to call me 😉 I am talking about Merch by Amazon. We were approved *IN 5 DAYS* and I am extremely excited. You will finally be able to order our merch WITH Amazon Prime (if you have it … By the way, Highly recommend as getting your packages in 2 days is quite awesome I must say myself).

The reboot has been successfully completed. You will have to log into your control and click start. Here is a video tutorial on how to do that:

If you have premium support, your stream will be started for you.

Next Reboot is scheduled for January 2nd, 2019 between 3AM SLT – 6AM SLT.

Support During The Holidays

Hey there!!

First, we would like to wish you a Happy Holidays from us over here at Hostcrate! We hope it’s a good one this year!

We wanted to let you know that there will be delays in customer support during the holidays so the staff can have time to celebrate with their family and friends. Our amazing staff have said they would be online but not necessarily available so leaving a support ticket using our bot at the office is best so they can answer them when they are available. Please be patient and understand that we do have real lives with family that we would also like to spend time with, celebrate Christmas, the new year, and etc.  We appreciate each one of you and we thank you deeply for your understanding this holiday season!

Next Server Reboot

Due to the holidays, we are rescheduling the typical server reboot that is performed on the 20th to be completed on Monday, December 17th, 2018 between 9:00PM EST – 12:00PM EST (6:00pm SLT -9:00pm SLT).  The reboot should not take any more than 5-10 minutes (typically sooner).

We will then go back to the regularly scheduled reboots after this one which will next be on January 2nd, 2019! Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding.
