I’m sorry if I confused anyone with my video/notices. There will be phases of the migration (move). Please note that if you are on server that ends in 38.242, you can ignore this message as you are already on a new server with the updated new control panel!
Phase 1 which will begin on the 13th will not directly affect anyone’s stream so they will still be usable. This phase is to get copies all of all the data off the servers whether that is by the customer or by me. No streams will be deleted or anything in this phase. Once ALL data has been safely saved to be re-uploaded, we will begin the next phase.
Phase 2: We will wipe the server IP ending in 147 then do a complete
re-installation of said server as if I just ordered it brand new.
Phase 3: We will begin the process of installing the new streaming control panel onto the server.
Phase 4: We will start the process of recreating stream accounts onto this server that were there before.
Phase 5: We will begin the process of saving the data from the server IP ending in 30.242. Once we have saved all the data on this server, we will then move them to the 147 server. Once all moved, the server ending in 30.242 will be terminated.
I will send notice of each phase. I will *not* remove any account until I know for sure data is saved somewhere. I will contact each person one by one so phase 1 will definitely be the *Longest* of the phases. This may start on the 13th and I’m hoping to get it all done by the 17th BUT it may take more or less time. I will keep everyone informed by our website & all other notice platforms that I use to keep communication with to customers.
There will be downtime, I cannot prevent that because the server 147 will have to be reinstalled as a fresh new server in order to install the streaming control panel – there is no way around that. BUT it shouldn’t take that long. The time consuming part will be putting streams back onto the server so I do apologize for that.
Backups are all on me so you’ll be reimbursed for as long as this migration is in progress, however, please keep in mind that I will not reimburse anyone anymore time than it takes for the migration to be completed so please don’t put a lot of time on the rental that you are using temporarily as it won’t be transferred over.
